How do I clean my product?

Please refer to the “product care” section of the items page you are viewing.

The product I want is out of stock. How long until it's available?

Are the product colours and material patterns I see on the website, exactly what my product will be?

We strive to accurately represent the products featured on our website.

While the designs remain the same, the appearance of the natural materials used will vary due to the nature of those natural materials.

Basically giving us a 100% unique product each time.

Are your vegan shirts ethically printed?

Absolutely! The Vegan shirts we have on offer at I am the Animal are screen printed locally using water-based Permaset Inks.

Permaset Inks are a leader in environmentally responsible products through continuous improvement practices for a sustainable future.

They are 100% Vegan and chemical free. For more information on Permaset Inks.

I'm trying to place a website order but something's not working. Help!

Shipping

How much is shipping?

Australia wide we offer flat rates of $8.95 for standard shipping and $15 for express shipping.

For New Zealand we offer a flat rate of $25 and for the rest of the world $35.

When will my order be shipped?

Your order will be processed and dispatched within 3 days of your purchase.

Can I modify my order?

Yes. Please contact us as soon as possible.

However, if the order has already been dispatched we will not be able to fulfill your request.

Can I track my order?

Yes. You will receive your tracking number once the order has been prepared.

Please note tracking numbers will not work until they are first scanned in. This may take up to 24 hours.

Do you use sustainable packaging?

We sure do! We use 100% compostable mailing bags made from plants!

Where necessary we use recyclable cardboard boxes to protect fragile items, compostable labels and stickers. If necessary we use compostable sticky tape- Composticky

Note: Boxed items too large for compostable bags will be sent in recyclable cardboard boxes only.

All deliveries are carbon neutral.

Do you ship overseas?

We sure do! We offer a flat rate of $25 to New Zealand and $35 for the rest of the world.

Delivery times vary from 7-21 business days depending on your location.

My item has arrived damaged

Returns

Can I exchange or return an item for a refund?

Yes. Incorrectly purchased and change of mind purchases can be returned for a refund or exchange if contacted within 15 days of receipt of delivery.

A restocking fee of $10 applies for refunds. For refunds over $250 where Afterpay was used to purchase we charge a 7% restocking fee.

How long does it take to process a refund?

After the item has been received by us the return will be inspected within 3 days.

We will notify you if your refund has been granted. If rejected we will notify you with your options to proceed.

If your refund has been approved it may take up to 15 business days to be credited depending on which payment method you used.

Unfortunately we do not have a shop open to the public.

We sure can!

We have access to a number of ethical and sustainable suppliers so if there is a certain product you are after send us an email and we will do our best to source it for you roar@iamtheanimal.com.au

How do I know what I’m buying is really ethical and sustainable?

At I am the Animal we have carefully taken time in researching the brands we have on offer.

We give you a unique selection of ethical worldly brands. From Peta-Approved Cork items handmade by Portuguese artisans to FairWear certified recycled shopping bags. It’s fair to say we have something for everyone!
